The municipality of San Miguel is now building a sidewalk from the coastal road to the beach. ThAt the beach visitors may enjoy 3 restaurants and 2 small affordable hotels. The beach is seven miles long and crystal clean. The surf is excellent for more accomplished surfers. Surfers are encouraged to talk to the locals to pinpoint areas of rip tides. 30 feet to the South of the lots is the Eco-hotel which has 6 individual cabanas and a large swimming pool. Angelo, the owner is from Italy and has a small patio restaurant seating 30 people. He has home grown eggs, milk and cheese on his nearby farm. He rents kayaks and leads butterfly and birding tours.
