Homesite 2 is named after the Cristobal tree. The Cristóbal tree is in danger of extinction. The wood is in high demand because it's used to make furniture and a favorite for marimba keys due to the resonant sound. Cristobal is just over half an acre with direct access to a quiet country road which is maintained by the municipality of San Miguel. The site gradually inclines up from the road and rises to about 10ft. The rear of the property features a natural drainage path 6ft deep that diverts rainwater from the highground of Homesites 1 through 3 to the ocean.

The municipality of San Miguel is now building a sidewalk from the coastal road to the beach. The leisurely beach walk is one-quarter mile long. Once at the beach, visitors enjoy 3 restaurants and 2 small affordable hotels. The beach is seven miles long and crystal clean. The surf is excellent for more accomplished surfers. Surfers are encouraged to talk to the locals to pinpoint areas of rip tides. A "lights down" law restricts beach lights that disturb sea turtles. 30 feet to the South of the lots is the Eco-hotel which has 6 individual cabanas and a large swimming pool. Angelo, the owner is from Italy and has a small patio restaurant seating 30 people.
