Homesite 8 is named after the 'Jacaranda' tree. Jacaranda is native to Argentina but now found in Costa Rica as an ornamental tree. Rows of Jacarandas can be seen lining the roads throughout Costa Rica and can be found in San Miguel. Jacaranda is an awesome homesite with jungle-like foliage to the rear and open green space to the south and west. This site has access to both the Coastal Rd. and private road leading up to homesites 9 thru 13.

To the west, just across the private road sits the Eco Hotel. With a restaurant and comfortable accommodations, this little hotel makes visiting San Miguel by the Sea a cinch! Both homesites 7 & 8 have beautifully spaced mature Palms. Various other tropical trees dot each lot with foliage and shade. Sunset casts a golden hue illuminating this lot's gentle rolling terrain.

Jacaranda is equipped with water, power and phone from the Coastal Rd. Broadband Internet has been installed on utility poles along the Coastal Rd. By the time you're ready to build--your home site will have high speed Internet!

    San Miguel Beach
The municipality of San Miguel is now building a sidewalk from the coastal road to the beach. The leisurely beach walk is one-quarter mile long. Once at the beach, visitors enjoy 3 restaurants and 2 small affordable hotels. The beach is seven miles long and crystal clean. The surf is excellent for more accomplished surfers. Surfers are encouraged to talk to the locals to pinpoint areas of rip tides. A "lights down" law restricts beach lights that disturb sea turtles. During the busiest seasons there are as few as 30 - 40 people on the beach. This is paradise on earth! More...
