    Facing South on Site 12
Homesite 12 is named after the 'Balsamo' tree - Also known as 'Sandalo', this large tree has been used for shade for coffee and pharmaceuticals. In Costa Rica, its use is more common for floors due to its strength and color. Site 12 is a giant platform building site with a wide ocean view. The topography of this site is what makes it so so special. When standing on the level building area--looking South the view is nothing short of spectacular.

    Facing West on Site 12
View to the west on site 12
Homesite 12 has all the right componants: mountainous angles, lush jungle and ocean views. From South to West the vistas include canopies of tropical trees and the Pacific Ocean beyond. The road to the lot is fairly steep. You'll want a Jeep for this one.

View to Pacific ocean from lot 12
View to ocean from building plateau
The entrance to the lot is cut through dense jungle--which is why it's so magnificant when you step out into the level building area. The back of the lot is a sheer incline up to site 14 and not passable by foot. Homesite 12 has everything you'll come to love about Costa Rica.

Distance to San Miguel Beach: 2 minute drive.

    San Miguel Beach
The municipality of San Miguel is now building a sidewalk from the coastal road to the beach. The ride to the beach is quick. Once at the beach, visitors enjoy 3 restaurants and 2 small affordable hotels. The beach is seven miles long and crystal clean. The surf is excellent for more accomplished surfers. Surfers are encouraged to talk to the locals to pinpoint areas of rip tides. A "lights down" law restricts beach lights that disturb sea turtles. During the busiest seasons there are as few as 30 - 40 people on the beach. This is paradise on earth! More...
