Homesite 13 is named after the 'Jobo' tree. In Spanish, 'J' is pronounced the same as 'H' in English. Essentially its a 'Hobo' tree which is rather funny. The small fruit of the Jobo are favored by monkeys and the young leaves are edible for humans. If you're looking to catch a monkey, might be a good idea to find out what the Jobo tree looks like!

Jobo is about the wildlife grazing in the fields below, sounds of the jungle and the smell of the ocean. Owners of San Miguel by the Sea contracted an architect and builder to estimate the price of a 1600 sq ft ocean view villa. The design incorporated tempered glass for ocean facing walls, 2 bedrooms, 2 bath with a swimming pool and hot tub on the patio. The quote came in at $203,000 with a carport--ready to move in. Jobo overlooks lot 10.

    San Miguel Beach
The municipality of San Miguel is now building a sidewalk from the coastal road to the beach. The ride to the beach is quick. Once at the beach, visitors enjoy 3 restaurants and 2 small affordable hotels. The beach is seven miles long and crystal clean. The surf is excellent for more accomplished surfers. Surfers are encouraged to talk to the locals to pinpoint areas of rip tides. A "lights down" law restricts beach lights that disturb sea turtles. During the busiest seasons there are as few as 30 - 40 people on the beach. This is paradise on earth! More...
